One could safely say that all Hindus are Indian (minus a TINY minority). Most of the Indians who come to the US, either as temporary residents or those aspiring to citizenship, are from a professional caste that predisposes them to a certain income level by their education and skills. A large portion of them work in the IT industry or in business management. For the most part, they've already been filtered by our government to fit into a certain income level. There are many exceptions, but I think this is the general case.
