Don’t Let the music and maniacal appearance put you off. Devin Townsend (the leader of the band) is a highly respected musician and producer.
I love this band, but even I have to admit that I have absolutely no friggin’ idea what the lyrics are about and how ‘zen’ fits in.

never did get screaming as music. i guess it’s cathartic. the lyrics are harsh–or angry? forgive me. i’m 63.

Awesome find man, I love SYL! One of my fave bands… songs a bit silly lyric wise, but other than that I like it, thanks for posting… now time to hunt the album down.
