Via FashionMagazine.us:
“This Meditation Pod Chair from PlushPod.com looks fresh, inviting and if it helps you on your path to Enlightment, hey, what more could you ask for?”
The designer says it’s intended to be “a sacred space for one or two people.” Huh.

I checked the website. Have you seen the photo with a girl “sitting” on the chair? I don’t think this chair helps at all on “the path to enlightment”, on the path to a back ache, yes.

Made from harmful polyurethane, and costing in the neighborhood of $2000, I’ll take my kapok stuffed cushion, any day.
For the same $2000, I could also fly economy to Thailand or Dharamsala, and find a truly sacred space (forest cave or Buddha Hall) in which to meditate.

I checked out the photo…
Was I naive to expect to someone actually meditating?
