Dharma-Burger! “Leave the stress to the others, we drive Zen”

Big thanks to reader Frank Dries, who submits a Dharma-Burger with all the trimmings:

“Here’s another snack for The Worst Horse; the images speak for themselves.”

Zen-Driver (‘Zen-Rijders‘) dares to say: ‘We do it different. We drive Zen’ How? For example: A Zen-Driver doesn’t flash his lights when somebody takes over too slow on the highway and his middle finger rests always on the wheel. He or she realizes that misbehavior in traffic doesn’t change anything. Zen-Drivers is an independent Dutch initiative to improve the atmosphere on the road and in traffic jams. A call for peace on the tarmac.

And what does the Zen-Driver do to improve life on the road? Asking this question is the answer. The Zen driver is smart: he figures it out himself. Every time he hits the road he looks at his Zen-Driver Token and recites the mantra: I’m not going along with the madness: from today I’ll stop stressing!”

Is it Buddhist? No, Zen was chosen because it has become such a common expression for relaxed. Anybody can become a member and buy the Zen-Driver Token. Put it as a reminder on your dashboard, rearview mirror or whatever. The profit made by this enterprise goes to charity: the CliniClowns

“There’s Hyves pages too, where members can bond, chat and fool around with this charming initiative. For example: Have you tried Yoga in your car?”

Can’t say that I have. Looks like that must be an advanced asana.

Thanks, Frank, for sending on this good-natured but truly odd ‘Burger!

Love it! BTW, I must be really dim since I’ve been looking for the email to which I could submit a ‘burger of my own, and can’t seem to find it. How does one become a submitter? Please?
