“The Fisher family is doing a little Thanksgiving redux this weekend. As a vegetarian, my entree is a Tofurky. The Tofurky Vegetarian Feast box currently features something called ‘Travels with Tofurky,’ where readers submit pictures of themselves in exotic international locales with a Tofurky box. Funnily enough, one of the photos on the box I picked up includes the attached picture with the caption, ‘Tom N. enjoys a Zen moment with his Tofurky in front of the Golden Pavilion at the Rokuon-ji Temple in Kyoto, Japan.’

“So, yeah, maybe not quite a full-on Dharma-Burger, but sort of a use of Buddhism to sell something. (The photo of me with the Tofurky box was taken by my cousin Cilloran.)”
