Sorry, Sam. I believe the world *will* be a better place if Obama wins, and as a Buddhist (who therefore wants a better world) I want to empower and embolden those who share that point of view — just as much as I want to empower and embolden all my sisters and brothers in the Dharma community, no matter what their political point of view.
This site will probably revert to being less partisan. On, say, November 6th. Hope you’ll be here.
How Sad! Bringing Obama into the peaceful mind is not the answer. Politics will not save us and if you think Obama cares about mediators and Buddhist, you had better think again. Obama, McCain, Biden, Pallin are just people. They will not make as big of a difference in this world as some might think. It’s all an illusion and my heart aches that someone would even make such a sticker.
Please reconsider making this site partisan and sty focused on and take rfuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. Please.
Vote your conscience, yes. Yet keep your vote to yourself. The world will not end f McCain wins. The world will not end is Obama wins. The world will not be a better place is Obama wins. The world will not be a better Place if McCain wins. The world will be a better place when individuals wake up and live awakened lives.
This country is so divided. Unity will come when we all wake up.
Thanks for the sticker, I have it up chez moi. By the way, saw you in the Buddhadharma mag and especially liked your comparison with the kids table at the family function.

Thanks for that, James. I didn’t even know that mag was out yet. Thanks especially for using the “sticker.”

Thanks a heap for the sticker. Hope having it on my blog helps to carry those pivital states … like samadi and ordinary mindedness.
I think Obama is way ahead in Samadi, but McCain has many followers among the Ordinary Minded.
