The mighty Philip Ryan of the Tricycle blog sent this one today:

He wrote, simply, “I don’t know if this qualifies as a Dharma-Burger but it made me say, Whoa!”

He wasn’t the only one. The unstoppable Sam DeWitt sent a shot of the same thing just moments after Philip did, (see below), saying:

“Is the worst timing, or the best? …Just saw this while reading a NY times article on how the bailout deal failed in Congress.

“It seems either highly ironic, or very very apropos, I guess depending on your point of view.

“And once again I say, man, those Buddhists (and meditators of all stripes) must be well off to afford such things.”

Thanks, fellas… but I for one can’t afford such things. (Nor can my eyes afford to have such things around. Yee-gads.)
