Well, what can one say about this?
It’s “Fist of Zen,” which is, according to the people behind it (MTV UK), “the gameshow that seeks to help wayward westerners find their path to enlightenment as friends are put to the test as they face gruelling tasks set by the Zen Master.
“Not only must each challenge be completed; and pain, discomfort and humiliation endured, but pure silence must be upheld throughout in order to secure that all important cash prize.”
It’s facetious, of course — sort of in a Jackass/Kenny Vs. Spenny way… and so obviously so, it’s kinda of hard to have a beef with it. Offensive or not, It doesn’t really bastardize the idea of “Zen” any more than Quentin Tarantino — or some actual (though self-proclaimed, and therefore illegitimate) “Zen Masters” — do…
Thanks to Dan C for the heads-up!

That was pretty funny.
I’m really not quite sure if laughter and snickering is “pure silence”, but its always good medicine.
